center cap pieces flaking off

what causes these center cap pieces to flake off?
(is is due to automated car washes?)

any suggestions on preventing that?
where should i look for replacements?

My front left one is peeling, too. Do you think the dealership would cover that under warranty?

if you are under warranty. im going to try pealing mine off and regluing them
