So one day a cd got stuck in the 3rd tray of the in dash cd player. It got stuck in a way where it didnt show in the display there was a cd in the 3rd tray but the small door was closed. so one day i tried using a screw driver to pry open the door and try pressing eject and tampering with the stuck cd , it worked. Everything works fine until i put a cd in the 5th cd try i can hear teh cd spinning and u can hear it rubbing it against something inside. but the music still plays from 5th cd tray but sometimes the rubbing noise can be heard over the music at quarter volume at full spinning speed.

i got 6 cd's stuck in all the cd drives at once, end of story for me with the OEM cd player.

get an aftermarket double din or signal din

the rubbing noise you hear is the control arms scratching the cd, the unit either needs to be fixed or replaced. or else you will constantly trying to free jammed disks

Yeah my cd player works sometimes it does not the lights light up in the day but not at night its all upside down..Car is falling apart right in front of me!
