CD Player Issue?

Has anyone had any trouble listening to CD-R's that they burned on their PC in the car? I burned one on my new PC this week and it plays everywhere except in the TL.

Same issue on my mom's '99.

I found that older Memorex Music CD-Rs worked.

The new ones dont though. It's a shame too, cuz I just bought a 50-pack. :shakehd:

So you're saying there's an issue with my car, or all TL's do this?

for the most part, people who tend to have the single disc player from the 99-01's tend to not be able to play all cd-r's...I have noticed that everytime I burn a CD with a gold back, it always plays, and also like rvl123 said, older memorex cdr's work too

i had a similar issue with my cd player on my 03... i was burning the cd's as full speed which wont burn a deep enough groove in the cd... that might be your problem as well..
when i burn cd's for my car i usually burn them at no more than 16x that took care of my problem i normally buy the cheapest cd's so i dont think brand makes a difference

OK, I'll try that. Mine is an 03 so it's a 6-disc changer unlike the 99-01's.

THANKS

I have an '03 and I've used all types of cheap disks (last batch was $0.05 each). No problems playing in my TL-S
