hey im buying a new car and i dont want to spend the 30 bucks for a carfax. does anyone have unlimited carfax? this would help me out alot, thanks

Better than carfax is Acura Care- the warranty center knows all about your car!
Carfax only knows certain things
1-800-382-2238 x5 6a-5p pacific

have VIN handy and they will look up- tell you if trans replaced- if in VIN for the 7/109 and other things

Ask the seller to provide a carfax report- if they trust their car- it wont bother them to do
Just like having a safety inpspection or smog test already done proves the car is good
Lastly- take it to a private shop and pay to have it lifted and inspect the brakes- caliper$, struts, damage etc.
Reading thru gen2 threads will tell you what to watch for- things like look thru the glovebox door at the plastic panel over the cabin air filters- if its sideways they have been changed

Note: check brake fluid condition- old fluid causes expensive probs

If you're buying a 'new' car, why do you need a Carfax report? I'm guessing that you meant a new 'used' car. And if you're going to spend $20k to $30k for a used car, why not spend $30 to get the report and then have the car inspected as 01tl4tl suggested.

becuase im buying a cheap car for winter. i didnt say it was an acura or a 20k or 30k car. i need help and askd a simple question, does anyone have unlimited carfax reports?
