Went to the DMV to renew my registration but I noticed for the first time that the color for my car was listed as "GREY" instead of SILVER. So I told the guy behind the counter about this and he told me that the color silver was not listed on the New York State DMV system so they automatically assign the color grey to silver cars. So I was just wondering if any other SSM owners out there have there cars listed as grey on their registration? Thanks.

I am from Massachussets and I am pretty sure my car is also listed as "grey" in my registration - have to double check, though... Don't care much, as long as I don't have to paint it grey...

These are the colors that can be registered in MA: Black, White, Gray, Green, Blue, Red, Brown, Yellow, Purple. They haven't added orange yet (listed as red) and yellow and purple used to be listed as green and blue. So yes, silvers get listed here as gray. Even light beige or tan is still listed as brown.
