I am in the process of ordering car mat protectors for my 2002 3.2TL Type-S from www.matprotector.com in Miami, FL. Does anyone know if the mats are the same size as the 2001 3.2TL? The salesperson at matprotector said he sold alot to 2001 3.2TL owners, but has no information regarding the 2002 3.2TL Type-S.

FYI - the mat protectors are custom made out of 16 gauge transparent plastic. All you have to do is slip the mat into the plastic. All you have to do to clean them is wipe with a damp cloth or sponge. Great for areas in the Northern U.S. or beaches. The cost for all 4 mats (for any Acura model) is around $35-40.

Since the driver's side mat has a hole to hook on the hook in the driver's side mat. Do you need to cut a hole in the protector?

I am not sure about the size either.

That mat protector looks kind of cool. I was thinking about getting the clear plastic mats to put on top of the original ones, but now since I saw those I think I'll get them.
Post the sizes when you find out for sure if it fits for 2002 TLS.
