Car going/steering leftish on highway speeds

Hey guys,

Long story:
I have an issue which was not so noticable before but now is. When I'm driving my car, it starts steering itself to the left, and I'd have to counter that with a constant steering to the right (im just countering the left motion to keep the car straight). This issue is always happening now on the highway as im driving around 100-140 KM/H. I checked my tire pressure and they were the correct pressure, however I did notice my right tire has this weird tear on the tread (The tread is chipping off - Ill try to get a picture). The Suspension is very new (only about a year old). What could be the problem? I really need to drive this car..

Short Story:
Car goes left when driving , weird chipping on right Tire treads

Thx for the advice

agree ^^^

Does it happen on all roads?

If yes, go get an alignment.

My first guess would be uneven tire wear. That could be an alignment issue or a bad tire. I would just swap the left and right tires and see if the car pulls in the other direction.

regular streets probably won't give you the same affects because of lower speeds.
it's sounds more like the road concerning the issue...for you VoLLy

I can't be sure, but I've noticed that some parts of highways on the left side is a little slanted... maybe for drainage issues? Maybe that's what you're feeling.

it's probably an alignment.

when i was driving my friend's audi in the left lane, it tends to turn into it. especially when the road is curved and banked. i told him he needed alignment. he said it's just sports suspension that makes it like that. so i went into the middle lane, car went straight as an arrow. went over to right lane and like clockwork, it inches to the right.

I remember doing an alignment when I did the suspensions (because I did the front and the rear suspension)

I guess I'm due for another one

And since that would explain the chipping tread on the right tire, I will be doing that tomorrow.

I will also swap right/left tires to see if it makes a difference.
