Car and Driver's test on the 03' TL-S

I was reading the article in the Oct. C&D on the comparison test with the TL-S, G35, 330i, A4, C320 and the W8 Passat. They got the TL-S to 60mph in 7.6 Seconds and covered the 1/4 mile in 16.0@88MPH. What the hell went wrong there?? It sounds like they were driving a base TL or a 02 Accord V6. Maybe it was not broken in or elevation?? They had slow times for all of these cars but the TL-S was the slowest. Maybe they misprinted those times. The G35 got a 15.6 in the 1/4 which is still very slow for that car.
