Car and Driver (March 2001) has 1 page (p.83)
Only 1 page and not much info, but better than nothing. It lists the base price of the TL Type S as $33K.

Note: the Car and Driver title was PREVIEW. And it spoke well of the engineering improvements. I suspect that the June or July issue will have an actual comparison and full review once they can get the hands on one for actual testing.
