Car doesn't accelerate as well as it used to..
I catch myself having to floor the pedal every so often as the car doesn't accelerate as quick as it previously did. Is this a normal part of the vehicle aging? I can still reach highway speeds however the initial acceleration when getting on the highway happens slowly. 1999 with 212k...

Check the tension on the throttle cable. It most likely stretched over time and is causing the throttle to not open all the way. See if it needs to be adjusted that's the first thing I'd check.

ign coils, spark plugs, tune up, older engine.. it could be tons of things. What maintenance has been done?

All maintenance is up to date. I was informed two years ago that the oil leak I have is coming from the head gasket and the gasket also has some coolant in that area...This was two year ago and I have been driving it. Other issues I have is the car overheats but when I turn off the AC, the gauge comes right back down and the car does not want to start up again when the engine is warm..
