I was wonder if u could tranfer a manual transmission into a tl or tl-s. I was thinking that maybe you could take the 6 speed from the 2003 cl-s and put into the 2003 tl-s. I love the way tls look and love the comfort but i love driving a manual much more so i was wondering how could u make a manual tl or tl-s years 2001-2003. Also would this cost more then 3k??

p.s i dont like the 2004 tl and could afford one and i dont think the ever made a tl manual am i correct to say that?

it can be done but you (if you dont do alot of the work your self) is going to cost upwards of 5k. the 04 TL is way better than the 2nd gen. and no they never made a 2nd gen tl with a manual

It will cost you a lot of money. Don't think is worth it.

You are better off buying an 04 6MT. The 04 is such much better than 2gen TL's in almost everyway.

I think it will cost you more than $5k including parts and labor.

Not just in looks. Looks is up to the person's opinion or like.

Is better in some many ways it will take me hours to explain all of them. Plus is better because it comes with a 6MT....what the guy wants that posted this thread.
