Question Can I put 17' rims that were on My Maxima on my TL

Guys,
Help me out. I had a 97 Maxima and bought some 17 inch rims and tires for it. They are 5 lug universal fit rims. Are these going to fit on my TL. Are they the same lug pattern. Just got my new tires today and looking to install on my TL. 205/50/17 WR rated Sumitomos. I still have the lugs and lock. Can I straight switch or am I going to have to buy new lugs????

The bolt pattern for the TL is 5x114.3
The offset is the MAJOR issue. What is it?
The stock rims are like +55 (I think)

You need to find out the offset. Look it up on the web at a Maxima board or something.

If it is wrong, the rims wont sit right on the car. They will be in too far or out too far. They are probably the wrong offset. The TL's offset is very high. Sorry dude.

When I had my Enkei RS Evolutions on my Talon, I thought about putting them on my TL but had the same question. I called Enkei and gave them whatever info they needed and they told me whether they would fit or not (they did fit, bit I decided to not put them on).

I would call the manufacturer of the rim and see if they can help... that's the easiest way. If they can't help, go to where you bought them and ask.

Cool

Isn't their a Maxima.com webboard? You can ask them what the offset is for the factory wheels!
