It depends on how good a driver you are vs. how good he is !!

my friend has a boxster w/ 2.7 and he is a very good driver..his best time at the track was a 14.6..i think that a TLS could give it a good run.

you will beat the boxster as long as you get a really good launch.

You could beat a regular boxter but dont pull up to a boxter S. That will be out...

Agree with Mr . I ran a normal Boxster in my 02' TLS on the highway with 2 other people in my car, and was still dead even up to 140 MPH

Please race in a straight line. The Boxster is so finely balanced handling wise. So make yourself feel better, beat that Boxster

First of all, its a "Boxster" not a "Boxter". I had a 99 Boxster for 3 years. The 01 2.7 i just a little faster than mine. You should have no problem keeping up or beating him from 0 to 40. The Boxster does not have a lot of low end torque and is very hard to launch. It was a weak clutch and is prone to axel hop. After 40, I don't know. Of course, if there are any turns in the course, he will out handle and out brake you with ease. In any event, have fun.

I raced my sisters boxster and beat it. It was a straight line and the only 'performance' mod that i have is a CAI. didnt win by much, but it was a win. She has the regular boxster. Dont think it would have turned out the same if it was the S

well...we just did a quick race today after school. I won=) I seemed to have a better launch than him. Is it cuz he sucks at driving or is the TLS just faster? He was a little more than a car length away from me
