Came back from my NoCal road trip!

I put about 1100 miles on my car in about 1 week. It took me 4.5 hours to get to San Jose from Pomona because I was pacing another car who was going around 90 mph. On the way home it took about 5 hours. I saw 1 modded TL in Hayward at the shopping center where the Century 25 theatre's are. The car was black with a kit, tint, and some chrome rims. I'm not sure if that belongs to anyone here.
I squashed so many bugs with my front bumper and I got some minor rock chips as well, including one on the windshield. Other than that the car ride was great. The ride was nice and comfortable even with tein's. I had no complaints from my passengers, since they were sleeping half time.

Ha, ha! I know what you mean about those bugs! I normally go the other way (Sacramento to Riverside, via I-5) and I have to clean off the bugs each time I stop for gas or to take a whiz! Since my car's a WDP I can't afford to let 'em stay on too long.

Glad you had a good trip. By the way, I'll be moving down to Riverside at the end of the month... looking forward to meeting up with some Southern Cali folks and checking out your cars!

Later,

V.

What do you clean the bugs off with? And you mentioned that you can't leave the bugs on your car too long due to the white exterior. I have the Silver Satin Metallic, and am wondering if I too should be concerned. I just went on a road trip of 500 miles, and my bumper is covered in bugs, etc. I'm leaving for vacation in 2 days, and will just be leaving my car outside. Should I wash it before I go? Will the bugs stain?
