Arrow California/Sacramento area members comptech needs your help.

From comptech forum:

Ok, we would like to ask any person, living within the Sacramento area, if they would allow us to borrow their CL or TL for 2 weeks at the end of January.

The car needs to meet the following criteria:
- 2000, 2001 or 2002 model year
- 3.2 CL or TL - NOT Type-S
- must be an "ULEV" vehicle (small sticker on rear side window will tell you.)

If you, or someone you know, would be interested, please email Shad at shad@comptechusa.com for more info.

Thanks.

haha.. good luck finding one. i seriously doubt that anyone would let anyone borrow his car for 2 weeks. unless you get a free supercharger.

Yeah, then you'll have to just drive your bimmer or mb around!!

Seriously, a supercharger would be nice.. if I could live w/out my car for a couple weeks, I would do it too.. as long as they let me try it out before they take it off..

a full comptech upgrade would be nice

Don't know if there are very many TL non-S owners left around here..

someone at least email them to find out what they are expecting to do with it.. I'm guessing Icebox CAI for the TL/CL..

More likely than not...they'll install it for you for free..you just pay for the cost of the parts...a little above wholesale probably...it's a deal IMO. You'll probably be saving around $2K...in parts and labor.

2k is not worth it for me... JMHO...

I would rather just buy the kit and if anything goes wrong, take it up with the company.

Something might go wrong when they test your car... ya know... at least that's how I look at it..

I did. Shad e-mailed me back. And guess what the S/C kit. So if the price is right, i will give it a shot since I do have other mode of transportation.

This would take my mind off the M5 for couple year. As i was this close to trade in my TL+530i+ 20G for a new M5.

Economy is still bad, and looks like agi. is going down the tube this quarter as well. There are tons of M5 in stock with deals to be had.

I know for the fact that Nick Alexandar in LA has 8 M5 in stock. After I got my ass handed to me by CHP last sat, I realize how much I really needs a M5.

But if i can get a decent deal on the TL SC kit, i will keep it around for a while

Too bad they don't need a 1999, or else I would let them have it for a couple of weeks.
