Question CAI hissing at certain throttle point ??

My AEM CAI is hissing, but only at a certain position (about 30% pressed) of our gas pedal. It hisses when you're pushing the gas pedal down, or coming off it, but always at the same exact point. Its annoying as hell. Anyone ideas ?

Mine only hisses when the car is not warmed up... once it warms up I do not hear it at all. When it is cold, I hear it around the same time as you... with the pedal pressed about 1/4 of the way down.... but, after about 2 min. or so it's gone.....

Yeah, this one hisses all day, every day. Cold or hot, rain or shine, slow or fast.

It hisses or you hear it sucking when you gas on it?

I hear mine suck everytime I press the gas if I listen close enough.

Hissing is good. That means it's sucking a lot of air And more air means more horses.

Do you also get hissing when you turn off your motor? I think that would be normal.

Hissing is an under-statement. This noise is a LOUD whistle that you can hear even with the windows closed. Im thinking its something in the throttle body thats rubbing metal to metal when the valve rotates to a certain point. Ive had CAIs on 5 cars now, this is definitely not normal lol.
