CAI fix???

CAI fix???

i kno one of the major problems with CAI's is getting wet and getting the filter dirty people say a large portion of this is from goin thro car washs if i was to just put a plastic bag over the filter each tim i went through the wash would this solve the problem mostly?

you WONT have a problem going through car washes. it needs to be COMPLETLY submerged to start to cause the problem, getting wet wont affect it. and puting a bag over it, well I wouldnt recomend it.

haha yes now that i thought about it thats a stupid ideo ok but wut about that thread those comments have ne validity?

i dont know how it would get scratched?
i have had 2 of them (2 different cars) both with over 150k on each one with out ever having a problem.
i checked mine every 15k miles (for me about every 3 months) and i never had any issues with clips.
i dont know, to each there own but i loved my AEM's and would recomend them
