Which CAI to buy?

Cool Which CAI to buy?

Ok guys, this is question to all of you that have CAI. Which one would you recommend, AEM or the Injen (1 or 2 pc)? Please guys advise me on this, cause I realy want to buy it and install it before spring...

Most people have the AEM...the new pipe is a one piece unit that needs to be cut if you plan on installing the bypass valve. The Injen CAI is recommended by Tim (Snook)...I believe that it is a one piece unit also.

I have the AEM CAI and love it.

1 pc is for the Type S, for your 2000, that would be a 2 pc

Both are really good and you can't really go wrong with either.
I have had both on my TL, and I prefer the Injen.
Seem alittle quieter at idle as well...

By the way, how big is the 2 pc injen pipe? I live in philly, so i need the bypass valve too.

I have the AEM CAI and I love it. Like Tim said, you can't go wrong with either one.

I live in the Southeast. So do i need to use the bypass vale too, or is this only for you guys who lives up North?

Bypass valve is for people living in areas that receives a lot of rain. In your case you really don't need it but it's up to you.

My rule: better to be safe than sorry.

You seriously cannot go wrong with either. But I think the AEM emits a very addicting sound.

also for the by pass valve...I remember seeing someone's TL with the by pass valve on it..and the foam appears it was ate away by the water. That's not good... I wonder what will AEM do.
