If you install a CAI does the computer adjust and reset. Also I just bought my TL and the previous driver was let's say not aggresive. Now that I have added a few items will the computer adjust to the new driving habits or would it be best to discontect the battery? Is there a way to reset the computer?

I've generally gone with the 10min disconnect of the battery rule when adding any mods that affect air/fuel

I suppose anyone here can confirm this or post up addtl info about another way to reset the ecu...

In short our computer isnt that smart, but yes it does help some by doing it. A fast way of resetting it is to pull the Clock Backup fuse on the passenger side dash fuse panel for a mi or so. That way you dont have to enter the radio/navi code after doing it.

the CLOCK fuse is the secret backup power to the ECU

located passenger side, in cabin by feet or end of dash depending on year
its fuse #12 or 13 iirc
