A/C Low line pressure

I did a search through all of the A/C threads I could find, but couldn'f find my answer. With the car off, how much pressure should I be seeing in the low pressure line of my A/C system? Any help would be great. Thank you.

Chris

OK, so do you know how much pressure I should see on the low side with the car and system on?

LOW pressure should be anywhere from 20-45 PSI (this is with the car ON and A/C on full blast)

HIGH pressure should be in the 150-200 PSI interval but can be slightly lower or higher(car OFF)

Pressure readings depend on temperature and humidity, so keep that in consideration also.

My A/C system was properly refilled the other day so when I get home I'll take the exact pressure readings and post them here

0 psi indicates a serious leak has occuered
- not, lets throw some seals on it and all is well
First you need to add some dye and find the leak, replace o-rings, or bad line or even the ecompressor and receiver dryer! All depends on how long the sytem was out of commission
