A/C & Heat ? & Car Jerking ?

When you just press the "Auto" button to turn on the air, is it supposed to blast the air? No matter what temp I tried to set it at, it still just blasted it (even with the fan speed set at 1..then turned it off...then pressed the Auto). Is this normal?

Also, I notice my car jerking a little bit when I am coming to halt (eg. Stoplight). This is with VSA on. Is this normal?

Thanks guys

you mean the fan speed goes to high when you push auto? if its going to full auto then the fan speed would go to high if the temp is different than what its set at

the jerking you are experiencing is completely normal. You will feel this in all the TL's. It simply is the a/c compressor turning on.

Are you on "Auto" or "Full Auto"? For Full Auto you need the fan speed control turned all the way counter-clockwise.

When I am at a redlight, I can feel the car jerk and the rpm goes up to 900rpm instead of the normal 600rpm idle speed. This happens at almost every redlight. But when the car is moving, I don't feel any jerk at all. My uncle's Lexus RX330 does not do this when he has the AC on. Why is that?

I guess that's just how Honda/Acura cars are made.
