Broken sway bar bushing bolt
Is it safe to drive 35miles with a broken rear sway bar bushing bolt? I ripped the head off the bolt and got a hige nail in my passenger side rear tire so I'm bringing back to the tire shop to get fixed hopefully and figured I have them fix that too.

Cool. If for some reason I need to fix this myself. Do you know if the nut on the backside of the bushing comes off or is affixed to the bushing itself, meaning tap out the rest of the bolt inside or replace the entire bushing?

new MOOG bushings/end links from local parts store are the ticket here!
they were 15 or 45 - somewhere in there I saw on a recent azine post-
try searching MOOG end links- in the `text of messages` of last 3 months- should find info there
there are stronger and have a way to tighten with normal tools- not the allen wrench stock type
No prob driving it like that till its fixed, no racing~

Upon further inspection the bushing is fine, but the bracket is now bent and I believe I can bend it back no problem, but part of the bolt is in the frame that the bracket connects to. It feels like there is a nut on top but I'm not sure if it's connected to the frame or a loose nut as it didn't want to come off easily. Can anyone answer me that?

Anybody have any thoughts on how difficult this would be or on how much it would cost to have a shop remove it?
