break pedal click my 200
my tl makes the click noise every time a touch the break pedal.its supposed to do it in park because of the shift lock but not all the time has any one else had this problem please respond thanks THE WINK!

I get a click from the spring but not the same one as the park shift lock switch. Are you sure you are hearing it by the pedal because the shift lock click is right next to the shiftr. Maybe you have the same noise as I do

Wow.. I love this board more and more!!! You guys have no idea! Everytime I think I'm the only person with some annoying noise or characteristic with my car, you guys either find a fix for it, or at least make me feel better by knowing it's a prevalent issue. Are you referring to a springy sound when you press on the brake? If so, is it temperature sensitive? Mine only makes a spring noisy when it is very cold in the car. When it is warm out, or if I put the heat on for a few minutes, the sound is gone.

when i drive with my windows down, i can hear a very distinct click when i use my brake. this happens, usually at low speeds in either reverse or drive. so this is a problem? i can guarantee my dealership will claim it is normal. what is a specific problem i can have them check out?
