Bravo, bravo Ed Voyles Acura

After my many, many horrible experiences with Acura service from Nalley Acura in Marietta, GA I switched to Ed Voyles Acura in Chamblee. What a difference!!

I had five problems that had accrued in my car because of Nalley's incompetence. The steering column casing had broken and was separating, the leather on the passenger seat had hardened and was abrasive (driver's side had already been replaced), the fuse for a window kept blowing and causing the windows and sunroof to stop functioning, there is a perpetual vibration in the car at all speeds that I had been unable to solve even by balancing tires and inspecting rims (Nalley simply said "cheap tires" caused it, even though the tires aren't cheap), and warped rotors again. I also asked them to check the transmission as it has been shifting erratic lately. I dropped it off on Friday and was handed the keys to an 05 SSM 5AT TL.

This morning they called and he asked about the fuses, then he said:

We replaced your rotors and your front pads to solve that issue.

We ordered you new leather for the passenger seat.

We found your car has 2 broken motor mounts, we're going to fix them to see if that smooths out those vibrations - if not, we'll go from there.

We're still working on the other issues and will touch base with you tomorrow.

Ed Voyles Acura gets and a STRONG recommendation in my book!

At the same time, they really shed light on how horrible Nalley Acura really is, so all you Atlanta folks take notice!

Yeah man... Nalley sucks ass! I have had wonderful service at Acura Carland, and they are the ones that get my repeat business! In fact, I need to take it over there in the next few days for a checkup!

As a side note to this thread, how many motor mounts do we have? The guy said I had a broken front AND side one. 2! I take it my car should be much smoother when I get it back?

I live 5 blocks from Ed Voyles, great place! I've only had my car a month, I needed my radio code, they got it for me in 5 minutes w/ no fuss! I also recommend Baranco over in Morrow (which is where I bought my car from) They gave me a loaner to do an alignment. Great service, still remember my name a month later. Points!

You drive that far out of your way to get your car serviced at Nalley, as bad of a dealer as they are? I'm filing complaints with the BBB, and as we speak I'm preparing documents to send to Corporate. Nalley Acura did nothing but fvck my car left and right, then try to do the same to me. One visit to Ed Voyles and the problems that Nalley Acura was too incompetent to fix or just basically refused to fix are all taken care of. Nalley Acura had my car TWO WEEKS to replace speakers and the dash, which they didn't install correctly and it took 4 repeat visits to get them to correct it. At one point, they tried stuffing a cloth between the dash and the windshield to get it to stop flopping around. BAD BAD BAD service. In 2 days Ed Voyles solved the vibrations in my car (broken motor mounts), ordered a new transmission because it was just starting to go bad, replaced leather that Nalley damaged, replaced free a lug nut that Nalley left off, put together the steering column correctly after Nalley did not, etc.

The severe vibrations I couldn't get to go away Nalley said were "low quality tires" after a 5 minute drive. Ed Voyles drove it, then took the time to check stuff out and found it had 2 busted motor mounts.

Nalley Acura is the absolute worst dealer in existence. They are a bulging wart on the face of Honda and Acura as a company, one that needs to be removed.

I think I'll go pick up my car now since it is complete after 2 days (the weekend didn't count, I left it on a Friday evening). I have no doubt had Nalley had the competence to do what Ed Voyles just done for my car (which they don't), it would have taken a month.

Um, did you read any of the previous messages? None of them praised Nalley. Might want to have someone doublecheck the documents you're preparing.

Actually before you get so hateful you should check out the post times as well as the edit times. When I read it at 4:36, it said he went to Nalley and had been warning people about Ed Voyles for years. When I was finished typing my response at 4:43, he'd edited it (corrected it) 3 minutes earlier. I closed the window.

Hope that clears it up.

There are 3 mounts. I think the other is for the tranny.

Tnx for the heads up. From now on ill go there. Ive been going to a honda dealer near me, but its a hassle since they have to always order the parts I need.
