Bose 4 Channel Amp Bypass

Hi everyone,
I'm working on replacing the entire stereo system of my new-to-me 2002 TL Base. I am having trouble locating the factory Bose 4 channel amp.
I have found the Bose amp behind the rear seat, and I have removed the Bose head unit, which exposes what I believe to be an equalizer.
Any help or pointers would be great.

I am adding...
-single DIN Sony MEX-N5100BT head unit
-Kicker CX 300.4
-Rockford Fosgate Punch P165 6.5" 2-way speakers
-Kenwood KAC-9106D
-Pioneer Champion Series Pro 12" Subwoofer
-Rockford Fosgate 4 & 8awg kit

Basically, I have all of my new items placed in the car, my only concern is bypassing or removing the factory amplifiers/equalizers.

I apologize if there is information somewhere already on this site, however I can't find it. (Perhaps I'm not good at using the search feature yet?)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all!

If I remember correctly when I upgraded my radio to aftermarket is the amp you are referring to is located inside the center console just in front of your shifter.

I just left all my OEM stuff in the car and unplugged it. You won't be using any of it with the new system you are putting in.

Not sure why you are concerned about removing it??

The factory amp for the door speakers is located INSIDE the factory headunit.

Thanks guys. I just ended up "ignoring" all of the OEM equipment. I ran my own new speaker wire into each of the doors, which wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

That's the best route, the hardest thing for me was getting the speaker wire though the door harness but other than that not to bad.

Enjoy your new sound system

Thank you. Now my only problem is getting the door speakers to fit.. I'm not sure whether I should cut the actual door frame so they can sit it there properly, or if I should cut out the factory grille. I'm not sure if i can do either of these myself as I don't really have much for tools. Maybe I will go to a shop and ask if they could cut either of them for me?

I used Focal 5.25 speakers (Component in the front and Co-axial in the back) and they sound amazing! It's just not worth the hassle to cut the door and I really think you will have problems getting the 6.5 speakers to go in as there is not much room inside the door.

With the 5.25 I was able to use the original speaker fitting housing and just had to drill some holes for the speaker mounts to line up, it was a piece of cake.

But each to their own, keep us updated on how it goes if you keep going with the 6.5 speakers. I'm curious to see how you make it work.

I just sent back my speakers. I think I will take your advice with the 5.25" speakers. Its been such a hassle and I'm not really getting anywhere with it. So ill search around for some.
