Body Kit Question

I have added sways, strut bar, PIAA extreme white lights in the fogs and high beams, shock and glass breakage sensor, 35% tinted windows, Pilot exhaust tips, PIAA plazma bulbs inside and backup lights, and working on the Escort 8500 mod.

I thought my next mod would be the RES but seems like that may be a ways off if ever, so I am thinking about adding a body kit next.

Anyone only do the sides and rear like Snook? I have not seen a TL-S with a body kit in person but from the look of Snook's car, I think I like it better without the front lip. And it would save some dollars. Also wouldn't have to worry so much about scrapping.

Thoughts...

I don't know... personally I think the OEM '02 Front lip is the hottest part of the kit. That thing is too sweet and makes the car look pretty aggressive. I'd say spend the extra $280 and get the front lip, no question.....

i have the full bodykit, if you aren't lowered then you don't have to worry about scrapping.

When I received my body kit, the front spoiler was delivered a day or two after the other parts and it was another few days before I could put it on. So I drove around for about a week without the front and I am of the opinion it just didn't look right. I think the pre-'02 models (like Snook's) look fine without the front but the redesigned '02 looks much better with all the pieces of the kit. I think it really helps complete the look of the car.

I agree. It is a requirement, not a option. '99-'01 looks fine without it as you can cleary in Tim's ride, but on a '02 it becomes a necessary piece. But thats just my opinion

same here. for 99-01 without the front it's alright, but for 02 the front lip is where the juice comes from.

Before and after pictures of the front, sides, and rear would be great. Also let me know how difficult the installation was.

I think the kit elevates the TL from "nice" to "PHUKING HOT"....I've said it a million times and I'll say it another million: I can't get over how much better it looks with the kit....the same applies to tints, so for all of you w/o tints: GET TINTS!
