Blitzsafe

Can the Blitzsafe work in a 99 TL?

I don't have a CD changer control..

i have the same question. i am interested in doing this as well...

and just a quick audio question. can you hook up and amp and what not to the stock sound system?

I did, thank you, but all that returned was data on 2000+ and some 1999 year vehicles but all that was said was it would work.

I was looking for a first hand account from someone with a 1999 TL with factory Nav and no CD changer.

Since that isn't you, why did you post here?

If you don't have a CD changer, there still should be the spot to plug in the changer in the back of the factory headunit. Take off the wood grain and plastic panel on the passenger side and feel the back of the head unit.

I know I'm an 01, but I have nav, single CD and no changer. The needed port is still present on mine. Hope it helps.

Well, I didn't feel any open ports on the radio.

I will remove the entire unit tomorrow in case I just didn't feel it with the radio still in.

Yes, it works with the '99. Just check the blitzsafe website, it lists the years it's compatible with.
