black window trim

I need your help! I have a 2000 TL WDP and on my passenger side I have some scratches about the size of a quarter developing around the black window trim. It's the most common part we touch when we close our doors. Has anyone had their black molding start to peel off? If so, how is this repairable? Thanks in advance!

mine is very bad on all four windows....by far the worst looking part on the car, I guess 5 years of the crazy temp extremes of the area has gotten too it.
