I have a big race on saturday. I have a 75 shot Zex nitrous kit and a short ram intake on my type S. I am up against a
Lexus GS 430, 1994 Acura NSX, a supercharged toyota s runner, and a S2000. All these cars are all stock, no mods at all. Do you guys think I have a good chance with them. I know I have a major fwd handicap. Let me know what you think

 

I'm not too familiar with NOS but with a 75 shot, you should be pushing well over 300+ hp so the gs430 should be no problem but those other cars will depend on your launch. But you might have a chance against them if they don't know how to launch properly considering if they are stick.

Everyone of them are experienced racers except for the S2000. I'm pretty sure i'll beat the GS430. The launch on their cars are crazy. The S runner is the new Toyota Tacoma's version of the Chevy S10 extreme. That is one fast truck. Tomorrow is everyones first time clocking their cars.

 

well as you have said the gs should be no problem. your car will be well over 300hp and that's a lot for our cars. if you have a good launch i think you could be close to the s2000 (but since he is not experienced you might be able to eat him too).

the nsx is damn fast, i am not sure if you can really get close to it. and i have no idea about the runner.

but man, 75 shot of nos, that's awesome!!!

 

Dayam! I was looking into Zex, have you ran with the Nos yet? How is it with our tranny's?

 

Hey VR-TLS, i noticed you are in Honolulu. Where you gonna do this? Hawaii Raceway Park I assume right? Or you gonna clock some other way?

 

I'll let you guys know how it goes on sat. I'll try to post pics when i get my hands on a camera. The bottle is mounted in the middle of the trunk so i can go through the rear seat armrest to open and close the nos bottle without opening my trunk. I'll try to post some of my times on the board when i get them. For Chadhova, yes, we are going to hawaii raceway park.

Well I'm still trying to find someone with a digi cam. If I don't I should have pics. I hope it'll come out ok because we're racing at night. My friend has the NOS install pics, I'll try to see if he still has them.
