Can't go wrong with Blitz wax or Pinnacle Souveran wax. Most important step though, is washing. That is where people fail to do right. Otherwise, you will get swirls and scratches. WWW.Autopia-carcare.com is a very informative site and i would definitely read all the information they have.

I wanna wax my car with whatever Tann uses on his TL. The shine on his car is awesome.

Post Best Wax for Spring/Summer

I just got an 02 TL, Silver/Ebony, and plan on waxing it when the weather warms up a bit. For the many enthusiasts on this board, what wax is suggested to get the most from the TL finish?

Thanks,
Chris

Many people have suggested to me that it isn't a good idea to wax your car when you first get it. You should wait for about 60 days or so because of the paint.. dunno if this is true or not but it worked out for me to wax it. I plan on using some mcguier's (don't know how to spell it, sorry) wax and polish. As spring is here now, I plan on waxing it for the summer as well. Probably this weekend if I can.

Go to http://www.autopia-carcare.com/
they have many tips as well as different products you can get ideas from. Most of the time you can get all the products you need at your local car parts store like Pep Boys.

You don't have to wait to wax like the person above said; Acura's paint is baked on at the factory and needs no time to "cure" like when you get painted at a body shop. If you get new paint, then you have to wait before waxing...

When I had my nissan 240sx SE repainted, the bodyshop guy told me to wait 15 days, which is about 2 weeks before I put wax on my car, so I'd say wait about 2 weeks before...
