Hey guys,

I am so pissed to find out that they had some sort of recall on the EGR system of my 99 TL...

Anyway, a while back I had gone to the dealer about the check engine light being on, and asked if there was any service bulletin on the EGR system (read some other members with the problem), and the dealer said NO...So I just left...This was at around 80,000 miles...

Anyway, I have 110000 miles now, and learned that there was an official notice on the EGR system of our Tl, and am so infuriated at the fact that the dealer kept this from me....Anyway, my question is...

I live in the L.A. area, and want this taken care of...under the warranty that they have extended...Which dealer would be understanding enough for me to go to, and have this resolved? Thanx in advance...

The mileage shouldn't matter if this is a recall.

Recalls are done for safety reasons.

But the notices and stuff that others have posted on the board says 8yrs or 80,000 miles...Should I be concerned with this technicality? Thank You

check out the AC dealer in pasadena. i had good experience with them when i have gone. good luck man.
