All I have to say is that I'm completely satisfied with my AEM V2 on my 99 TL. I got moddest gains, hard to say how much for sure, haven't dynoed it. All I can go with is the seat of the pants test which is convincing, partially maybe due to the loud growl it makes when I hit VTEC.
A little expensive, yes, but IMHO, well worth it. Good luck with whatever you go with!

Before my Icebox, I had the Weapon-R short ram intake. That thing is loud, when you punch it, it sounds like a motorcycle with a deep growl noise. Too loud for my taste. I still have the intake and the filter, if you like, you can have it for $50 shipped. It was on my 99TL for a few years.
