The best brake rotors I tested are DBA X5000s for Track Duty..

15 years of owning this car and have always hated how quickly it likes to warp the front rotors. I finally switched to Bosch quietcast which seem to be holding up well after 10k. The zink/aluminum coating is starting to get some light rust but here in the rust belt that is to be expected.

I've always had good luck with Wagner thermoquiet pads. Very little dust, decent bite and good life.

The key to the rotors not warping is getting a dual piston caliper upgrade from the legend. After that you can get the cheapest rotors and they will likely not warp.

Once I started torquing my lug nuts carefully every single time anybody touches my wheels I've had no pulsing at all. I need new brakes now for the first time because the pads are gone, not because they are pulsing so bad I can't stand it.

I can't remember what rotors I used last time, but as I recall it was some special acurazine package deal.

When my TL first started showing signs of warped rotors I did some research, mostly here. I wanted to put an end to the problems for good. I stepped up and bought some legend two piston calipers, EBC slotted rotors and went with Hawk HPS Pads(I've used these pads for years and always been happy with them).

I have since had no trouble with the brakes.

In the past, I would just pick up some cheap blanks and throw them on my cars. Always with good pads, though. These cars seem to eat most rotors up if everything else is stock.

Make sure your torquing your lugs in a star pattern everytime a tire goes back on.
