Which is best?

I recently installed a shock sensor and I found that it works best when mounted to the under dash as apposed to dangling from a harness or mounted on the metal brace. For those of you that have them, what makes it most sensitive?

P.S. To those of you that don't have a shock sensor yet, for fifteen bucks it is the best bang for your buck upgrade and is easy to install once you find the wire.

Mine is mounted under the dash to some wires. If the wires move, the sensor may go off. Since I got the dual stage sensor, it only goes off it the car is really knocked into. It won't go off if someone brushes it.

Bought mine at autotoys.com for about $12. A friend of the family installed it for me in about 20 min. using the directions from this site so I threw him $10. Pretty cheap upgrade to the factory alarm.....
