The beep on my alarm is FADING fast!!??

Ok guys, dumb question.

When I hit lock on my car, TWICE, I get a lil' beeping noise, it's like "beeeeep!"

I never had a problem hearing it (I used to do it twice just outta habit to make sure my TL was locked) - but now - I can't hear it at all!! It is sooooooooo faint! Is there a problem? Can I fix it? Leave it?!

Someone help!

Yea my Grand Prix got like that in the RAIN!! I think it was because of all the puddles and stuff that got the speaker thingie inside (under the hood) wet!!!

But even though it's POURED on Long Island for a few days now, we've had sun for a few days!! Why is it doing this?

are you sure?
just get your alarm checked at a local bodyshop or something... it might have to do with the electrical stuff or something

haha... i think i know the answer! my TL did the same thing.... it just means your battery is bad. your car will still start and act normally, but it will eventually die. well.. that's at least what happened to my '99 TL. I got a new battery about 3 days ago. don't you experience a minor trouble with the ignition these days?

Um no ignition trouble. I'll ask my boyfriend tonite when I see him. See what he says. That way, if my car dies somewhere, he'll be responsible - cause what do I know - hehe - I'm just some silly lil gurlie
