Any recommendations where to go besides dealer? I have a feeling they will charge around 500 dollars, any reputable places at a reasonable rate?

gen2 windshields installed are about 350 , that was a year ago.
Safelite glass is mobile or at their shop, and good quilty-warranty
there is a place that advertises in all the phone books, main shop in Manteca but small shops all over the bay area

 

most dealers dont install glass- its faster and more efficient to call a glass company and then charge 15 percent extra for their trouble
