I had the same thing...hit a pot hole

No discounts...you're out the cost of a new tire.

I'm down 3 stock tires with the infamous bubble on the side. I'm back to my Toyo's now which don't seem to have that problem.

Which size and model of Toyo? I've had really good luck with Toyo tires on past cars... but none quite this sporty. I find it's hard to find the STOCK size in a LOT of brands. And I'm just not comfortable going wider than 225s on our 7inch rims... regardless of what some salesman says. I've read all the specs from the top ten tire makers on the internet and 225/45/R17 is the largest that they spec on a 7 inch rim. And that is slightly undersized from STOCK, which will make the wheel well space even more emphasized!

I notice it's also hard to find the SAME service rating and speed rating in the proper size...grrrrrrr

FYI, our stock rims are 6.5in, not 7. The CL-S has 7. I'm on 225/45R17 Sumitomo HTR+ and have no problems with them being too wide. I agree with you that the wheel gap got bigger, but I didn't mind given the fact that handling improved and they are definitely ALOT better than our stock POS.

Welcome to the club! Either buy another stock or replace all four of those POS stocks like I did to something cheaper......and BETTER!
I recommend the Sumi. HTR+, great tire for the buck.

Yup, I am now sick and tired of dealing with Michelin about my bad tires. Yes 2 bad tire not just 1 as I thought. I spoke to a Michelin customer service and they were very surprised about the 2 bad tire. They said they never heard of any bad tires "HHMMM".
Well I just order 4 new Sumitomo for my car $94.00 a tire is alot better then $185.00 a tire. Screw Michelin tires that will get a bubble in the side walls in like 10,000 mile or so.

You'd be better off replacing the stock with something else. I've just replaced my 2nd tire in less than two year (<15K miles). As a matter of fact, I replaced the 1st one just last summer. All because of sidewall bubbles. I'm going with SUMIMOT HTR+ the next time. It cost less than half of the stock tire.
