Bad dealer experience
Folks,
I want to tell you about my recent experience I had with my Acura dealer. It happened in San Francisco, where I live. Not a long time ago I noticed that my car is making some weird sound, especially on a freeway. I suspected my transmission. So I didn’t want to wait till serious problem comes up and went to the Acura Service Center. They did a check up on my car (they kept it for a whole day ). That night I picked up my car and they assured me that everything is perfect, and I should not worry about it.
A couple of week later transmission began to skip and car was making nasty sounds. Therefore, I took my car to the dealer for a second time the same day. Again, they told me that the car in a good shape and I should not worry too much about all kind of sounds and noises. The other day I went to the nearest shop to change oil and they did check all fluid levels too. There I was notified that there is no fluid in my transmission! And they didn’t have the right one to fill it up. Next day (for the third time now) I went to the dealer and told them about that. They did check the fluid level, and only then noticed that there was NO fluid.
To make this story short, I’ll tell that they had to change my transmission.
Did you have this kind of experience and what should I do about it next time? Any advise or comments would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for reading.

Wow, so sorry to hear about that.. you should speak to the service manager there, and if you don't get anywhere, call Acura customer service.. Acura reallly does come down hard on it's dealerships for not doing a good job if you contact them about your bad experience..
What was the name of the dealership??
That would help us Bay Area people to avoid getting that crappy service..

do you mean that the first two times you went to the dealership they never even bothered to check the tranny fluid? oh sh!t, i would never take my car there...i'll bet they don't do 75% of the checklist items when servicing your car...
