Is this bad?

I bought a set of 4 motegi rims that came with Kumho Ecsta tires size 18's. Good deal because I got them for $400 and retail of these tires are $850 and up. Unfortunately when I went to the tire shop to get them on, they wouldn't put it on because they saw like 2 bubbles on 3 of the tires. The bubbles aren't big but they said if I hit something hard or drive fast, it could cause my car to spin out. What should I do? get a refund or just get my rims on?

if you bought them from a shop, tell them to give you a decent set of tires.

Put them on yourself. See how they look and then consider putiing on some tires.

Bubbles = shifted belts inside = unstable

Especially when there are two bubbles on each of the 3 tires. I wouldn't recommend it. One bubble, yeah, maybe you can ride on it. But it sounds like those tires had a rough life before you got them.

I hit a pot hole once going about 80 mph on the freeway and noticed a bubble the day after. Not even a week later with the car just sitting at home the bubble burst. Once again the car was not moved from the day I noticed the bubble and a week after it was flat in my drive way. I don't know where your bubbles are but mine was on the sidewall. All I have to say to that is becarefull and try not to ride on those tires too much if you do.
