powertrain good for at least 100K miles??? I think the warranty was definitely the best thing that could have happened to this new owner of the type S...

The warranty covers 5/60,000. If that owner plans to keep the car for longer than that, then it was a good idea to get the 7/100,000 warranty.

Why do people buy a car and then ask if they got a good deal? WTF is the difference? You paid your money, deal over. Why worry about if the deal was good. All that's going to do is piss you off for the 5-7 years you are driving it.

That person should have came to this forum first and asked if it was a good deal before buying the car.

Exactly that's what I did. The dealership must have known about this forum, because as soon as I mentioned it, their faces kind of froze and came down on the price afterwards.
