Auto off Headlights

Now i know we have auto off headlights which is awsome -- me likes!! -- BUT it sucks when i leave them on and leave my TL i hear that "you forgot to turn your head lights" sound!!!!!!!! is there a way to turn this sound off????, i mean, why would they do this?, if its auto off then we do not need any reminders.

Let me know what you think.... or maybe there is a way to turn this sound off and leave my lights on all the time.

I would like nothing more than to rip that damn chime out of my car. I've tried to get an answer to this question before and nobody seems to have a solution. If you figure anything out, please let me know.

The headlights auto off only works when you lock the car. It was never meant to be a true auto on/off function, thus the alert that you left them on.

yeah, if we could dissable it would be cool, it most likely can be done but why didn't they? (acura). They probably did this on purpose, i don't see how they could miss something like this... maybe cuts on the life of the lights by an unacceptable margin. are the new TL's the same way???

Anyways if there is a way to deactivate the sound i will do it for sure.... any electrical experts in da house???
