Auto Car Parts...

I order a wings west flush mount spoiler on the 1st thinking I should get it by the time I get my car (to have it put on right then). It says it takes them about 3 days to ship and another 3 days to get it right? Wrong! How long do I actually have to wait to get the damn thing?! Anyway, I told him that I am NEVER going to do business with him again and he said thanks. WTF? That's some customer care he has there He really likes to keep people coming back. Anyone else ever do business with Tim? Has he done this to anyone else, or is it just me?

It seems to just be you...everyone else here seems to think that Tim is an amazing businessman and a real stand-up guy. And maybe you should THINK before you post...he's the guy who puts up the money to keep this site going.

FYI: the mods don't tolerate ppl talking sh*t about Tim, keep posting crap like this and you will be banned.

First of all, this should've never been posted! If you had a problem with Tim (or anybody else for that matter), you should've e-mail/PM him and discussed it privately. About you saying that Tim said "thanks" about not doing business with him anymore is pure BULL****! I have ordered stuff from Tim and so have a lot of other people on this board and we all know that Tim goes above and beyond what he has to do for us.

I don't know what happened between you two but this thread should be locked!

Whatever. For posting my experiences, I am going to get banned? That's a bunch of crap! I thought that the whole purpose of these forums are to relate to people about experiences about your cars. Maybe I am wrong and we are supposed to not say anything about anyone doing us wrong on the forum.

Ok, I will admit maybe I was a little angry and I will change the name of the post, but if he is such a standup guy, why wouldn't he at least offer to pay for the shipping?

I already changed the topic of the post. I admit I was mad, but I did e-mail him several times, in which he wrote me back ONCE. I can keep on e-mailing him to see if we can resolve if, but it would take forever! I posted this to really see if anyone else had a problem with him, and not to publicly bash him. That is why I admitted I was wrong and changed the name of the post.

ummm....that's not cool...

I've delt with Tim many times and he's always given me the best customer service possible. Even before I knew him or before I became a moderator for this site. Regardless, it's understandable about your frustration, but still it's not the right thing to do to post something like that...it would have been better to just work it out with him!

Per your request... topic locked.

On a side note, Tim has made hundreds... perhaps thousands of sales to people on this board and there has never been a problem. Whenever a problem has come up, he's resolved it very quickly. I ordered a WingsWest spoiler a while ago and it took forever to get here. So much so that I cancelled the order. It was cheaper then Tim, but I did not get the service he provides, so I will never order anything from anyone else but Tim. Don't forget that WW has to paint and drop ship the spoiler. The odds are that the problem is with Wings West and not Tim as WW tends to take a long time to paint stuff. They are perfectionists, so if the wing isn't perfect, they won't ship it. It took me 2 months to get my wing b/c they painted 5 of them since they weren't happy with the outcome each time. Like I said, I ended up cancelling it anyway, but the problem was not my vendor, it was WW. If you deal with Tim professionally and nicely, he will help you out. I know he will. You get more with honey then you do with vinegar.... remember that.

I have replied to your email, and will also reopen this thread to reply

I don't know what email you sent that was not replied to, we answer ALL emails everyday.
The only time we don't reply to a email, if 2 were sent with the same question, then we answer just the one.
And as I explained in my email to you, that I just sent
"Sorry it took longer then inspected to get your order out to you
We keep these in stock, and just had a run on them, and WW just keep
delaying our shipment"

And I didn't even see you wrote that you would
never do business with me again, I thought you were thanking me saying you would!
So I just replied, thanks!

I hope that clears this up

BadAzzS I would like to add you ordered your order on Friday, and on Monday we emailed you, and told you we did not have this part, and had to wait for our WW shipment. (which I explained above and in my email to you, was delayed)

I'm not sure that deleting is a policy.... but I will just lock it again and it will disappear into the night. Actually, it will just disappear into the archives, but same thing!! If Tim needs to re-open it to reply further.... he will!

Glad all got resolved. It's probably better to leave this here just so others can see that Tim is the real deal. You seemed pretty pissed, and he made you happy, so that counts as a testimonial in my book!!
