Audible Chirp when setting alarm with remote
Have recently had my car in storage 2003 TL-S. Re-charged the battery and installed today. Everything runs fine. Reset the clock, radio and memory seats. However, I have lost the audible chirp when I lock the car with the remote. Usually, after the second lock with the remote(within a few seconds) there is an audible chirp?? Is the default setting no chirp?? Anyway to change this??

Try checking your hood or trunk and make sure they are closed. Make sure all doors are closed too. That's the first thing I would do because one time I noticed the same thing happened to me and it was the hood.

Checked all the doors, trunk and hood to ensure they are closed.
When I lock the car with the remote all the locks actually lock and the security light on the drivers door flashes once. However, it does not flash intermittantly afterwards?? Still not chirp afterl ocking with the remote more 2X???
Could something of happened by having the battery discinnected while in storage??

This won't help the missing chirp but also see if your driver's window has lost it's auto-up / auto-down feature. Probably has...also check the outside temp to see if it's right.

Windows work.
Sensors all check fine. I checked this by leaving open one of the doors and trying to arm the system. It did not work. Did this with all 4 doors one at a time, then with the hood and then with the trunk. Each time I checked, I tried with the feature open and then closed. When open, the security light on the drivers door would not flash; when closed it would flash once, but after that, it would not flash anymore. Also, if I keep hitting the remote to lock the doors over and over, all I get is the doors re-locking and the security light flashing once, but no chirp??
Can not be a fuse. Tried the panic button and it works fine??
This is weird and driving me crazy.
I do not want to take this back to the dealer.
Could it be linked to either:
1. programming the remotes to the car;
2. the memory seats with each remote??
I never had a problem before until my battery died.(was in temp. storage) and had to re-charge it.
Any help would be appreciated.

Drove the car this morning and amazingly the alarm now works, the security light flashes and it chirps when you hit the remote 2X, just like it use to.
I also performed the required adjustment to get my auto drivers window function back. Not sure, but believe electrically, these are definitely connected some how.
