Nate, I read your post on your body kit install and needed some clarification if possible.
You mentioned that for the side skirts that you used a block (wedge) and a 2x4 to push the stock skirt forward to remove it. Did you take the clips off before or after you did this?
Drilling is always a concern, how was your experience drilling the holes to mount it?
Last question: You mentioned that the front lip was a pain; something about cutting or clipping the existing front skirt. I was told that the front would just slip over the existing one. Can you clarify?
I'll be installing it this weekend if it shows up as scheduled.

Thanks Dude.

Thanks UW TL. You have the Acura OEM body kit; I bought the Wings West kit, I wonder if the WW is different for the front install??

I used a slightly different approach. I sat my butt on the ground. Grabbed onto the rear wheel and put my foot behind the ground effect. Gave it a good push and popped right off.

The clips should be in the body of the car. Give em a quick twist and they pop right off.

Yep, looks like these guys beat me to it.

I used leverage to get off the kit but I guess manpower or brute force works too. But yea, take out all the screws and clips you can before trying to get it off.

I didn't have to drill anything... I think the holes that were there for the mud gaurds are also used for the kit.

For the front lip, if you want you can just cut it off like I did. To do it right you need to take off the bumper cover, which is really easy. 1 bolt in each fender well and some clips underneath, a few clips up above by the radiator, then just pop it off. There are some clips, like UW said, that go in from the top down, rather than from the bottom up.

The rear kit goes over the existing kit, so don't worry about getting that off.

Good luck! Post some pics when you're done.

yo, i installed mine like a week ago.

the side skirts are hard to pull off. first you take off the screws underneath the side skirts (unscrew them) and yank it off by pulling it forward to the nose of the car. I couldn't do it myself so i had my dad pull it with me. It takes a good chunk of power to really yank it off. after it's off, remove the white clips remained on the body of the car by turning them 45 degrees to the rigt. Then reuse those white clips my inserting them onto the new bodykit.

I didn't cut anything for the front, but it sure was a pain. You HAVE to take off the stock lower lip. Whoever told you that the new underbody spoiler slips over the existing one is just wrong. Simply remove the plastic bolts that hold down the front lip (4 of them), and metal bolts (3 of them, 1 on each end of the lip and 1 center).

Ok, you are not done yet. There are still 4 more plastic clips that cannot be easily accessed because they are bolted down in the upright position - instead of from the bottom up. Look for those on each corner of the bumper, and try your best to remove those. It would be easier if you jacked your car up so your head could go underneath and look...
