I'm planning on getting D2S 6000K bulbs and I was wondering what this "little modification" that I have to do is. I have a 2001 TL.

It's basically the notch being on the wrong side I believe. This is a pic Carfreak had on that thread

Hey Erwin,

In case you don't know......that only apply on D2S bulbs. If you get D2R bulbs, it's direct swap!! No modification required!!
So have you decide where to get your bulbs??

 

Thanks for all the help guys. I wanted to figure out if the D2S would look better than D2R, but I doubt the difference is noticeable. I think I'll just get the D2R from auto lamps online. Hey Paul, did you get my e-mail about the body kit?
