Now that avatars are back, and people are hosting themselves, some questionable content has been posted.

Avatars can be viewed in all open forums, not just OT, and since there are no NWS tags for avatars, people looking for technical info on the main boards will have no warning to any questionable Avatar pics. No one here can see any reason for avatars like that, or for any reason that people looking for car info in the main forums need to have T&A shoved in their faces over and over again. This really takes away from the professional, focused image of the board, and IMHO it makes it, and us look unprofessional and cheap which in the future can keep us from reaching our maximum potential.

The Avatars can be a fun part of the board, and lets keep it that way instead of making it into something many people will find objectionable, and an annoyance.

yea, especially when i view this forum at work. it sux having to becareful about what might show up. not only worry about people looking over my shoulder but also staying in my cache and then my disk being backup to the server.
