ATTN: All South Florida TL'ers

I know the oil weight question is old, but help me out guys..I got my oil changed by Palm Beach Acura, and they used 10W-30..I was real pissed because that isn't the recommended oil for my TLS..But when I sat down with the service manager, he said that 5W-20 and 5W-30 are not good for the extremely hot weather in South Florida and that 10w-30 is what they put in every TLS /CLS, and that they have never had a problem or complaint..My question is what oil weight are the rest of you South Florida guys running in your TL..Also, I am seriously thinking about putting full synthetic in my TLS, so I need some recommendations as to what weight and brand of oil. Thanks guys.

I was running 10w30 for a while. I'm currently running 5w30 redline. I was running 10w30 for the same reason the dealer gave you, but to tell you the truth I like 5w30 better, the car does seem to run better and better gas millage.

BTW I run my TL very very hard and it now has 77k miles.
