apple i pod hardwire for my tl-s

hello all not long ago i bought an apple i pod and now want to try to hardwiring it to my tl-s. i bought this thing called an i trip where it trys to lock into a radio station and play music wireless but found the sound quality was really bad hence want to go a head and try to hard wire it... i did a seach on it on the forum but didnt answer alot of my question on so if anyone has experience wiring it to their tl if you can help me out or direct me to a link it would be great...

1. first of all what is the best way to do it? where do i purchase the wiring and how much does it cost??

2. is the wiring done the same way to the honda accord or is it different (i have a friend who hardwired it to his accord and might want to ask him to do it for my car was wondering if the set up is pretty much the same?)

3. is it hard to do? is it something a novice like me who never even installed a car stero can do?

also if anyone knows a trustworthy place in the east bay area of california that does these type of projects if would let me know

thank you all for your help oh yeah and also both my foglights are cracked bad and filled with rain ;( and only one works now i found that dealer charges $170 per foglight if anyone know an aftermarket maker that makes it for cheaper or anyone has functional ones for sale i would be interested...

Actually you need to buy this adapter kit called the ice link which will connect it to the inputs in the back of our head Unit. It also comes with a docking station to mount the IPOD. The DIY directions were posted up on the CL forums, and I have a copy of the PDF so if you need just post up the email.

you can also use the blitzsafe adapter as an alternative to the icelink. it costs a bit less. a while back they were 75 new (iirc). install is pretty simple.
