My car still does not feel the same with the new tranny.
I can't quite put my finger on it, but there is a difference.
It just does not seem as fluid.....

my car felt brand new when I had mine replaced.

problem still isn't fixed but I stopped caring because they can't fix the problem. they say it's my fault it gets caught in 2nd gear because I use SS too often... bastards

My car got cought in second while using SS as well - once. I was going through an automated toll booth at about 35 (I have one of those passes), and then dropped it into second with SS and floored it. It was a little wet out, and it seemed like the tires were slipping a bit the whole way through second (but VSA did not go on). I then pushed up for third, and nothing happened. I didn't really notice it until I bounced off the rev limiter a second or two later.

Long story short, I could not get it to shift up. I tried SS, D3, D4, D5, nothing. I got off at the next exit to see if stopping the car would help. Once I slowed down below 45 or so, it shifted up and was like normal again.

I chalked the whole thing up to the slightly wet pavement and the slippage I encountered. It's never happened again.

For the record I don't like to drive very fast, but I love to get to 70 in a hurry...
