Anyone raced a Lincoln LS?

Curious as to whether we'd be kicked to sleep or if it would be an interesting race? LS vs. TLS

I've raced a V-6 LS and took off like he was standing still!
It's like a 16 second car. The V-8 on the other hand is a little faster like mid 15.5-15.8 sec.
I guess Lincoln has a V-8 Sport version now W/ like 280hp But It's still only pulling 6.7 0-60 and 14.9-15.1 1/4 mile times
I'm still on the prowl for one of these!! But i think Lincoln only made limited amount. Anyway the TL-s should have no problem with the LS

My friend has one, just haven't raced him before. I'll let you know when we do. My car is stock minus sway bars and so is his.

the 03' V-8'S have a V-tec style engine that gives it a bit more umfff.but still no typeS killer on the staights, its questionable on the curves though.

I've raced both many times...We have a Lincoln dealer up the street from my office and I always see the sales guys on test drives and at lunch, etc...
Granted I have mods, but my car will @$$rape the v6...It's still even a healthy pounding on the new v8 as well. One of the guys can flat drive and he has driven the loaded v8 behind me around a 45mph on-ramp and stayed pretty glued to me until we exited. I have springs, no sways and 18's and I won't corner to excess to avoid eating my freakin' tires, but I doubt my car is much faster around the twisties if faster at all. Sways would be another story entirely--so would be and some Yokohamas...
